Moray Reach Out

It’s Recycle Week! Announced by Zero Waste Scotland. Thank you to all our customers of MRO Thrift Shop and MRO Recycling for your kind donations. Please keep it up! Your support is much appreciated.

Our Thrift Shop takes items fit for resale: clothing, shoes, bags, bric-a-brac, books, DVDs, linen, curtains.

Our Recycling collect mainly aluminium cans (drinks cans) and milk bottle tops (HDPE) at present, due to limited working hours and restrictions.

On behalf of ReBOOT, we take in your old computers, laptops and printers.

Moray Reach Out

Our Reach Out & ReBOOT (ROAR) project funded by Moray LEADER is coming to an end, but the collaborative work between Moray Reach Out (MRO) and ReBOOT will continue.
The Moray Leader and MRO match funding meant that a Development Worker post could be created to explore and experiment ways to use the plastics which the two local social enterprises collect. Both MRO and ReBOOT are also companies ltd by guarantee and are registered charities, working to support the local community.
Come along and see the display at Moray Reach Out, 23 East Church Street, Buckie for yourself. Amongst the display you will see items made from granulated and compressed milk bottle tops (HDPE – type 2 plastic) and from granulated and compressed computer casings (ABS plastics).
Members of the public are asked to help by handing in donations of milk bottle tops and desktop computers, laptops, printers that are no longer working and can be recycled.

Come to our side door on Logie Lane.
Put items in sealed bags.
Safe distancing of course! We have COVID procedures in place.
We accept most good quality pre-loved items and laundered clothing.
We do not accept electrical items, large items of furniture or duvets.
If all goes well, we will make Mondays 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. a regular time to accept donations.
Many thanks for your generosity, patience and kindness.
