The story begins with the freshly sheared wool from some local adorable Shetland sheep. This wool, straight from Jon & Annies flock, underwent a magical transformation guided by Matthew’s hands. From washing to teasing, carding to spinning, and finally, plying and hanking— It was a collaborative effort, with other trainees and staff lending a helping hand at each stage, and Matthew emerged as the shining star of the production!
In a special set of photos, we see Jon, one of our team leads, teaching Matthew the art of spinning for the very first time. And guess what? Matthew left Jon utterly impressed with how quickly he picked up the craft. 😍😁
