- Sorting Donations: Assisted by staff and volunteers, trainees handle the entire process of sorting donations – pricing, organising, and hanging clothes with care.
- Literacy and Numeracy Skills: Assisting at the Tills: Trainees enhance their literacy and numeracy skills by assisting volunteers and staff at the tills, gaining real-world experience.
- Refreshers Training: Periodic fire drill refreshers ensure a safe environment for everyone involved.
- Enhanced Social Skills through Public Interaction: One of the unique aspects of the Thrift Shop experience is the opportunity for trainees to interact with the public.
