Welcome to MRO Yarns & Crafts, one of Moray Reach Out’s creative social enterprises, based in the heart of Buckie.
This is more than just a yarn and craft shop, it’s a vibrant space where creativity meets community. Every ball of yarn, every handmade display, and every cheerful conversation helps us provide meaningful work and training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
At MRO Yarns & Crafts, our trainees work alongside dedicated staff and volunteers to build confidence and gain valuable life and retail skills. From operating the till and restocking shelves, to helping with deliveries, crafting projects, and even helping design our beautiful window displays, our trainees are involved in every step.
Through creative tasks like knitting, crocheting, and weaving, they not only develop practical skills but also get the chance to express themselves, connect with the community, and feel truly valued.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, MRO Yarns & Crafts is a warm and welcoming space for all things creative. From colourful yarns and beautiful buttons to inspiring project ideas and friendly advice, we’re here to help you bring your ideas to life – while supporting a cause that truly matters.
