Moray Reach Out will greatly miss Maureen or Mo as she was known to her friends, who sadly passed away on January 16. Mo has been involved with Moray Reach Out for many years and fully supported our mission. She started out as a volunteer and even drove the Waste Watchers van. In 2012 she became a trustee and joined the Board.
Maureen had keenly followed and supported the more recent development at Waste Watchers, where her son attends. She helped out with the various textile projects and Thrift Shops and she was always a willing pair of hands for all of the Moray Reach Out projects.
When we approached John, Mo’s husband, about putting a tribute on our website he was happy for us to do so although he told us that Mo would say “there nae need fer a’ that” which sums up her no-nonsense, no-fuss, down-to-earth attitude to life.
