We are absolutely delighted to share some exciting news with you! Moray Reach Out was honoured to be invited to Gordonstoun Prep School on Friday, 27th September, for a special cheque presentation ceremony.
Moray Reach Out and Moray Riding for the Disabled were both recognised as Charities of the Year at Gordonstoun Prep School, a truly special honour that fills us with pride. To top off this recognition, the organising committee for the Junior Highland Games informed us that they raised an incredible £2,300 during their event in April, for each of their chosen charities. This contribution will significantly support our ongoing efforts to help adults with disabilities gain a real sense of purpose and pride through our seven projects.
The cheque presentation ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to meet with the students, teachers, and parents at Gordonstoun. Representing Moray Reach Out at the event were John Rose, Vice Chair, and Megan Fairley, who were both thrilled to attend and receive the cheque on behalf of the charity. It was a truly heart warming moment as we joined other local charities to celebrate the spirit of giving and community involvement. The Junior Highland Games not only raised vital funds but also helped raise awareness about the important work we do at Moray Reach Out.
Thank you to the entire organising committee, the students, and everyone who supported the Junior Highland Games – your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of those we work with.
We look forward to continuing our work together and celebrating more events like this in the future!
